2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the soresa.pt website and purchases made through the online store. By using this website and/or placing an order, the Customer fully accepts these terms.

3. Products

All the products available in the online store are produced or selected in the region of Trás-os-Montes (Valpaços). Soresa is committed to ensuring that descriptions, photographs and prices are correct and up-to-date. Any errors are not binding on Soresa, which reserves the right to correct them at any time.

4. Pricing

The prices shown in the online store include VAT at the legal rate in force. Shipping costs are shown separately during the purchase process, before the order is confirmed.

5. Buying process

The order is considered confirmed once full payment has been received. After confirmation, the Customer will receive an email summarizing the order. Soresa reserves the right to cancel orders in the event of unavailability of stock, with a full refund of the amount paid.

6. Means of Payment

Payments can be made by the following means: MB WAY, Multibanco Reference and Credit/Debit Card. All payments are processed securely. Soresa does not have access to the customer's card details.

7. Deliveries

Deliveries are made by CTT Expresso to mainland Portugal, the islands (Azores and Madeira) and Spain. Delivery times and costs can be found on the following page Delivery, Exchanges and Returns. The deadlines indicated are estimates and may change for reasons beyond Soresa's control.

8. Right of Free Resolution

Under the terms of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, the Customer has the right to terminate the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the product, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, the Customer should contact Soresa by email at geral@soresa.pt. The right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable food products or those with a short shelf life, or to products whose packaging has been opened after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

9. Returns and Refunds

Products must be returned in their original condition, in their original packaging and without signs of use. Return costs are borne by the Customer, except in the case of a defective product or shipping error. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days of receipt and verification of the returned product, using the same payment method used for the purchase.

10. Guarantees and Claims

All food products are delivered within the expiration date indicated on the packaging. In the event of a product being defective or damaged during transportation, the Customer must contact Soresa within 30 days of receipt, accompanying the complaint with photographs of the product and packaging.

The following products will not be accepted for return:

  • Products that, by their nature, cannot be reshipped or are likely to deteriorate or quickly become out of date (perishable);

11. Data Protection

The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is used exclusively for processing orders and communicating with the Customer. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual property

All the contents of the soresa.pt website - including texts, images, logos and design - are the property of Vilela, Cardoso & Morais, Lda and are protected by the applicable legislation. Reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

13. Applicable Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any disputes, the Valpaços district court shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to recourse to the alternative means of dispute resolution provided for by law.

14. Changes

Soresa reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect from the date they are published on the website.
